Link-in-the-Chain is a charity program that was founded in 2001 by Fred Jacobs, a longtime friend and booster of the USC Track program for over 50 years.

Link-in-the-Chain’s mission is to provide children (up to middle school age) the free opportunity to see a Track & Field event at USC. We believe that it is important for our youth to be exposed to the sport of Track and Field. Fred Jacobs has contributed on a monthly basis for years to the USC Gift account for this purpose.
If you would like to join Fred in his efforts then we would encourage you to contribute to the funds raised to inspire the many young minds that may someday become talented scholars and athletes.
